Mission and Objectives

Our Mission:

• To reduce poverty among the local population through the empowerment of communities and to foster sustainable and dignified livelihoods.
• To assure appropriate feasibility and to influence development policy in context with all stakeholders involved to implement according to the latest scientific findings in development research. 
• To get practically involved in implementation, training and future design of development projects

Pro-Africa seeks to reduce poverty and marginalization among local communities through the following activities:

• Capacity building, training and education delivery for communities with consideration of gender equality.
• Providing training to relevant local NGOs and - CBOs, Line Ministries etc. to improve the effectiveness of service delivery for communities.
• Establishing flora and fauna for the communities as a base for their social empowerment
• Creating small-income generating and micro-credit opportunities and facilitating market links
• Action-oriented research that also enhances the utilization of indigenous expertise.
• Awareness rising and lobbying of the communities issues to positively change broad perceptive for the future.
• Publishing research findings, reports, and books, and distributing these widely among relevant stakeholders including policy makers as an important tool of awareness rising towards local communities issues.
• Networking with related organizations, Ministries, the academia and other stakeholders for the exchange of information, experience and ideas
